Dear Chorus Parents,
Things have been going very well in rehearsal and we are almost ready for our big concert. In this letter you will find many details regarding what we have planned!
Monday, November 28 – Chorus rehearsal until 3:30
Wednesday, November 30 - We will perform our Winter Concert for the school body on Wednesday, November 30th. Performance times are 12:30 & 1:15. Students should wear their chorus uniform (chorus shirt with black pants, shoes, socks, etc.). Everything worn from the waist down should be black. Parents are welcome to attend! Please sign in at the office first.
Thursday, December 1 – Our evening concert will begin at 7 PM in the Durham Theater with special guests the Bel Canton Singers from Durham Middle School. Everyone is welcome! Students should be in the Durham Theater no later than 6:00 PM in their chorus uniform (chorus shirt with black pants, shoes, socks, etc.). Everything worn from the waist down should be black. Doors will open to all parents and guests at 6:45. Please do not come into the theater until the doors are opened. There are PLENTY of great seats.
There will be a cookie & punch reception for all guests in the Durham cafeteria following the concert. Cookies, punch, plates & napkins will be provided for by the chorus donation fund. If you are available to volunteer – please indicate below.
Friday, December 2 - The Ford Chorus is taking the show on the road! We will travel by school bus to local Heritage at Brookstone, Primrose and the YMCA to share our music with others and then enjoy a pizza lunch at Cici’s pizza. The cost of the bus, substitute, and lunch will all being covered by the chorus donation fund. All students should wear their chorus shirt with BLUE JEANS to school on Friday, December 2. If you are definitely available to chaperone please indicate that below. Parent chaperones will need to provide their own transportation.
Monday, December 5 & Monday, December 12 – Normal Chorus Rehearsal until 3:30.
