Dear Tone-Chime Parents,
Things have been going very well in rehearsal and we are almost ready for our big concerts. In this letter you will find many details regarding what we have planned!
Wednesday, November 16 – Rehearsal at 7:15
Wednesday, November 30 – Rehearsal at 7:15
We will also perform with the Ford Chorus for the school body on Wednesday, November 30th. Students should wear their Tone-Chime uniform (same as chorus uniform - Music shirt with black pants, shoes, socks, etc.). Everything worn from the waist down should be black. Parents are welcome to attend! Performance times are 12:30 & 1:15. Please sign in at the office first.
Thursday, December 1 – Our evening concert will begin at 7 PM in the Durham Theater with special guests the Bel Canto Singers from Durham MS. Everyone is welcome! Students should be in the Durham Theater no later than 6:00 PM in their tone-chime uniform (music shirt with black pants, shoes, socks, etc.). Everything worn from the waist down should be black. Doors will open to all parents and guests at 6:45. Please do not come into the theater until the doors are opened. There are PLENTY of great seats.
There will be a cookie & punch reception following the concert for all guest. If you are available to volunteer please indicate below.
Friday, December 2 – The Ford Tone-Chime Ensemble will be performing from 6:30 – 7:00 PM at the Brookstone Country Club (5705 Brookstone Drive. Acworth Ga. 30101) as guests arrive for the Member Holiday Party. Please arrive at the Country at 6:15. We should be done by 7 PM. Students should wear their Tone-Chime uniform (same as chorus uniform - Music shirt with black pants, shoes, socks, etc.). Everything worn from the waist down should be black.
Wednesday, December 7 – Last Rehearsal at 7:15 AM
Tuesday, December 13 – Performance at Chic-Fil-A on Mars Hill Road. Meet in the Chic-Fil-A parking lot at 6:15. Students should wear their Tone-Chime uniform (same as chorus uniform - Music shirt with black pants, shoes, socks, etc.). Everything worn from the waist down should be black. We will perform for about 20 minutes starting at 6:30.
